Through Connect the Nations, you can reach people from around the world with English and the transforming power of the Bible. Using your special gifts and talents, we can help you find a place to serve in this ministry. Whether it's teaching, making friends, sharing your faith, ministering to others, or helping us to build more English through the Bible classes and programs, to reach all people of all English levels, we can help you to make the impact on this world that you dream about in your heart.

Connect the Nations
International 
Outreach Team

Do you love to make friends from around the world? Do you enjoy helping others to practice their English skills? Do you love connecting to people online?

 

Join our international outreach team to help us reach our goal of sharing Connect the Nations with all 249 nations!

English does not need to be your first language! You can improve your own English vocabulary and grammar skills along the way.

Duties with your team include but are not limited to the following:

  • Select a nation to meet people locally or online who are seeking to practice their English skills

  • Receive training and tools on how to have meaningful and spiritual conversations with the people you meet

  • Pray regularly with your team for the friends you meet

  • Introduce your friends to Connect the Nations!

Breakout Leader

Do you enjoy leading groups? Do you enjoy listening to and learning about others? Do you love praying and caring for all types of people?

 

We regularly host online Chat Parties and Fellowship Breaks where we break out into small groups to talk about all kinds of topics. When our groups are large, we need volunteers to help us lead conversation groups.

English does not need to be your first language! You can improve your own English conversation skills along the way.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Review the conversation questions and be prepared to share your Zoom screen so everyone can see the topics.

  • Make sure everyone in your group has a chance to share briefly about one or more of the topics.

  • During Fellowship Breaks, receive prayer requests from your group and lead the group in praying one for another.

Fellowship or Class
Facilitator

Do you enjoy facilitating and leading spiritual conversations? Do you enjoy listening to and helping others spiritually? Do you love praying and caring for all types of people? Do you genuinely love Jesus and desire to follow his teachings with all your heart? Then consider becoming a Fellowship or Class Facilitator!

 

We regularly host online Classes and communion-centered Fellowship where we break out into small groups to talk about the classes, share our spiritual needs, confess, pray one for another, and take communion together. When our groups are large, we need volunteers to help us teach classes and lead Fellowship gatherings.

English does not need to be your first language! You can improve your own English conversation skills along the way.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Facilitating class discussions according to the class handouts

  • Facilitate Fellowship sharing, confession, and communion.

  • Make sure everyone in your group has a chance to share, and create a comfortable and safe environment for sharing.

  • Receive prayer requests from your group and lead the group in praying one for another.

Fellowship and Class Facilitator positions may require formal applications, interview(s), and additional requirements.

Required Skills for Service Teams

  • Heartfelt desire and patience to help internationals practice English and understand the teachings of Jesus

  • Intermediate to advanced English conversation level, strong grammar is a plus

  • Strong customer service skills, personable and outgoing, service-oriented 

  • Patient, flexible, and mild mannered

  • Christ-like attitude and behavior

  • Excellent listening skills

  • Professional, punctual, and dependable

  • Zoom app is required

  • Service-oriented

  • Willingness to learn and grow

  • House Church and Class Facilitators require formal applications, interview, and additional requirements.
