Middle Eastern imprisoned Christian raised from coma

Updated: Jan 23, 2024

In 2020, we heard about a Christian woman who had been imprisoned for her faith and separated from her children. She was living in the Middle East where following Jesus is illegal. While in prison, she contracted COVID and was sent to the hospital because of her symptoms. While in the hospital, she went into a coma. We joined her church leaders on a Tuesday to pray in Jesus’s name that she would be raised by the coming Thursday. She woke up Wednesday and was sent to ICU (intensive care unit) to recover! Later she was sent back to prison, and we continued to pray for her release.
